These men were classified as being sedentary. Only 28.9% of the men in the study sat for less than two hours every day. This shows that the prevalence of physical inactivity is a growing concern among men.\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Physical inactivity is recognized to elevate the risk of obesity [3], with strong links to other conditions. Men face an increased risk of <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.bensnaturalhealth.com\/general-health\/how-to-prevent-heart-disease\/\">heart disease<\/a>, diabetes, and more. Reports indicate that a sedentary lifestyle is a significant contributor to premature death.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>These factors are generally well-known among the male population. What many do not realize is that sitting too much could be harmful to the prostate as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The direct consequences of a sedentary lifestyle, particularly emphasizing obesity, already elevate the risk of prostate conditions. Studies have affirmed a connection between obesity and BPH (<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.bensnaturalhealth.com\/bph\/\">benign prostatic hyperplasia<\/a>) 4.\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Additional studies indicate correlations between prolonged sitting and an increased risk of prostate issues.
