Ben’s Melatonin Supplement: Deep Sleep

Waking up only to feeling groggy and tired, dark circles imprinted under your eyes and slow reflexes that need a cup of coffee to jolt them?

According to the CDC, you are 1 out of 3 Americans who are not getting enough sleep on a regular basis.

It’s not fun being a statistic, nor is it much fun being unable to wake up refreshed and ready to start your day.

Sleep deprivation can cause a range of unpleasant side effects, from slow thinking, and low energy levels, to mood changes, such as feeling anxious, and irritable.

We had many customers getting in touch, struggling with some of the effects mentioned and longing for a solution to a full night of sleep.

So we did just that…and named it Deep Sleep.

Ben’s Deep Sleep, a leading melatonin supplement, contains five natural, proven ingredients to help ensure a peaceful sleep.

Clinically formulated, Deep Sleep can help you fall asleep faster, resolve sleep disorders, combat insomnia, and ensure a goodnight’s sleep.

How does Deep Sleep work?

Deep Sleep is an all-natural, clinical-grade melatonin supplement. Melatonin is the primary hormone responsible for ensuring a regular sleep cycle. Deep Sleep works as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle to help improve melatonin production, provide a restful sleep and help you to wake refreshed and ready to start your day.

What are the active ingredients in Deep Sleep?

Melatonin

Melatonin is a natural hormone that the pineal gland produces. This gland is in the center of a person’s brain. It is about the size of a pea.

The melatonin hormone helps regulate the sleep wake cycle of the body. It tells a person should they should go to sleep and when they need to wake up.

There are some cases where the regulation of Melatonin alters. This is often the case in a person who suffers from insomnia. Therefore, melatonin supplements give a person control over when there should be an increase in Melatonin and help to regulate their sleep cycles and aid sleep issues. Melatonin supplementation is available as melatonin spray, melatonin gummies, or an oral melatonin pill.

Valerian Root Extract

Valerian is a flowering plant that is native to regions of Asia and Europe that often grows in other countries too, such as the United States.

The valerian root has potential medicinal properties. Dried valerian root is used in a formula where dietary supplements are produced. In some cases, people also use the root in tea.

Valerian root is often with other herbal supplements and natural health remedies. It commonly helps people struggling with insomnia. In Deep Sleep, valerian root extract fosters a feeling of being well-rested and improves the quality of sleep.

Valerian Indian Root

Valerian Indian Root is similar to European Valerian root. But it also alleviates stress, relaxes muscles, and helps with a sleep disorder.

Chamomile

Chamomile is a daisy-like plant of the Asteraceae family. It is rich in Apigenin, which is a natural flavonoid that helps you feel relaxed and makes it easier to drift off to sleep.

Chamomile is commonly used to help with sleep, insomnia, gastrointestinal disorders, inflammation, hay fever, and muscle spasms.

Lavender

Lavender is a flowering plant in the mint family, Lamiaceae. It is a traditional treatment that helps calm the mind and promotes relaxation without sedating you. Studies also show that it can help relieve anxiety and depression.

What does the research say about the active ingredients?

So, what does the research say about the ingredients in our natural melatonin supplement?

Melatonin

As we previously mentioned, melatonin the the primary hormone that aids with sleep, and numerous studies back this up.

One study looked at the effectiveness of Melatonin on a group of female nurses on shift work who had insomnia. The participants took 5g of Melatonin per day approximately 30 minutes before bedtime. The study found that taking melatonin supplements was highly effective among these participants. Participants saw an improvement in their sleep onset latency and were able to fall asleep faster than usual.

Moreover, another study focused on the effects of melatonin treatment on participants with jet lag who had poor sleep quality. Participants who took melatonin supplements had an improvement in their jet lag symptoms, sleep quality and sleep latency.

Valerian Root Extract & Valerian Indian Root

Valerian root extracts are used worldwide to induce sleep and improve sleep quality.

The largest independent study ever conducted on Valerian root for sleep health was published in 1982 in the Journal of Pharmacology Biochemistry and Behavior. This study concluded that valerian root resulted in a significant improvement in sleep quality, especially amongst those who were poor or irregular sleepers.

Moreover, one systematic review of randomized, placebo-controlled trials of valerian for improving sleep quality looked at the effects of Valerian on sleep in 1093 patients. The study found valerian might improve sleep quality without producing side effects.

Chamomile

Many studies show that chamomile can help with sleep.

One controlled trial used chamomile extract on elderly patients who lived in a nursing home. Before taking chamomile (or the control), both groups’ sleep quality was poor. After 28 days, the sleep quality in the chamomile extract group significantly improved compared to the control group.

Lavender

Lavender is commonly used as a natural sleep aid. Many studies have backed up its sleep-enhancing effects.

One study evaluated the effectiveness of lavender in inducing sleep. The researchers used lavender capsules and compared their results with placebo capsules. After using the Sleep Quality Index score, they found that people slept more pleasantly with lavender.

How do you take Deep Sleep?

When looking for melatonin supplements, you’ll likely want to know how quickly they will work. However, depending on the individual state of your health, your diet, lifestyle, and a range of other factors, personal recovery for each person can vary.

For the best results, you should take one capsule half an hour before you go to bed.

Is it safe to take?

This melatonin supplement is 100% drug-free, 100% natural, and 100% side-effect-free.

When it comes to the ingredients in our products, we rigorously test them to ensure they meet the American pharmacological standards and the American herbal products association standards. Our manufacturing facilities are also all US-based and FDA monitored.

We use the United States pharmacopeial test 1119 (near-infrared spectrography), a third-party laboratory, to test all our finished products. This ensures that the melatonin supplement matches the label and is safe, pure, and high-quality.

How does it compare to other melatonin supplements?

When searching for the best melatonin supplement, you may wonder how our product compares to other supplements.

It is important to note that, unlike some other natural melatonin supplements, Ben’s Deep Sleep has the following:

  • 100% natural ingredients.

  • Clinically significant dosages.

  • Ingredients that are shown to work in peer-reviewed, double-blind studies.

  • Chelated ingredients for better absorption and effectiveness.

While many supplements have scientifically backed natural ingredients, the vast majority contain only a few essential ingredients. And this is usually in low and ineffective dosages, without chelating ingredients for better absorption and bioavailability.

A therapeutic dose is the amount of the ingredient you need to have a clinical effect proven by scientific studies. It’s also vital that the melatonin supplement you take contains natural nutrients. You do not want it to have any synthetic ingredients or genetically modified organisms.

This dietary supplement is extracted from the highest quality, natural ingredients, and freshly harvested herbs, using rigorous, cold press extraction methods to optimize dosage and bioavailability.

Bioavailability refers to the extent to which the supplement makes its way to the body’s tissues rather than being flushed out. As a result, the body efficiently absorbs our Deep Sleep.

To ensure the efficacy, potency, and freshness of Deep Sleep, we pick fresh herbs at the season’s peak. Then, we qualify each herb under specific quality guidelines under the CGMP and FDA. This 3rd party qualification process ensures every herb is 100% quality tested before being added to our Deep Sleep.

After this testing, we make sure that the herbs maintain their freshness and efficiency. We achieve this by cold pressing and suspending in glycerin, a compound known for its antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Through this diligent process, our preparations maximize the potency and efficacy of our supplement.
